Digna Love is the owner of Love and Sunshine, a Florida-based business she started when she was still in college. The company makes jewelry with gemstones, crystals and fine metals.

“Love and Sunshine is going to be a business of many branches, half spiritual in nature,” Digna Love explains. “But right now I am working with ‘Gems by Love and Sunshine.’”

She studied Alternative Medicine at Everglades University and has always been interested in holistic healing and the healing properties of crystals and gemstones. To date, her most popular creation for Love and Sunshine is a colorful piece called the Gemstone Chakra bracelet.

Wearing crystals and stones is an easy, effective and attractive way to have healing stones with at all times, no matter where you go. The stones do not need to be any particular size, and indeed the Gemstone Chakra bracelet consists of a multitude of tiny stones. The pieces can be worn wherever you would like; they don’t need to be over the area that the stones are being used to heal, although some healers do recommend that.

Digna Love was born and raised in Saint Lucia, an island nation in the eastern Caribbean Sea. She moved to the United States at the age of twenty, in search of a better life. In addition to Everglades University she attended Palm Beach State College, where she studied psychology.
