30th June 2020, Ecommerce platform Jamboshop Kenya and P&M Agro have signed a partnership agreement that will enable shoppers on the platform to buy fresh farm produce distributed by the farm produce aggregator. Through the partnership, customers can now buy groceries online through Jamboshop online shopping site and have them delivered right at your doorstep. The Fresh farm produce will include pre-packed bundles of various products, including vegetables like French beans, Broccolli, Spinach, Onions, Leeks, Lettuce, Cauliflower, fruits such as mangoes, avocados, lime and Tangerine, as well as Herbs like Rosemary and Fennel. The various bundles will save shoppers more than 40 percent compared to the average price of a Kenyan supermarket. Furthermore, deliveries will be free in Nairobi and its suburbs.

The CEO of Jamboshop, Sanjay Pathak, said, “Our partnership with P&M Agro will allow customers to shop on Jamboshop for their vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Those in Nairobi and its metropolitan area will also get same-day free delivery for all the groceries purchased from our platform. This will save shoppers money as P&M Agro cuts out the middlemen by reproducing their own produce and sourcing others directly from the farmers.”
With the partnership, the online grocery shopping site will capitalize on its logistics and e-commerce platform as well as its countrywide distribution network. Moreover, the introduction of fresh farm produce has increased the catalog of grocery products the online shop has. Jamboshop has a vast collection of groceries, including wines and beers, household cleaners, grains, and rice, as well as cooking ingredients.
