An event can be described as a public assembly for the purpose of celebration.

the Event:
An event can be described as a public assembly for the purpose of celebration, Event management is a powerful blend of creative and development of large-scale events such as festivals, conferences, ceremonies, weddings, formal parties, concerts, or conventions.
Planning an event can be a stressful process and can often leave event organisers feeling overwhelmed. Memorable events don’t just happen. Organizing and holding an event takes planning. Whether it's a gathering, class or a client appreciation day, and whether you have three weeks to design or a whole year, your occasion's prosperity is in the subtle elements. Tips for Successful Event Management:
Small Event Planning: What to Do First
1.Plan your event in advance
Begin planning as soon as you possibly can. If your event is a large event you should realistically begin planning, it four to six months in advance. Smaller events need at least one month to plan.
2. Remain Flexible
Over the course of planning the event, things are going to change. Whether it is event times, locations or even the type of event you’re hosting, you need to ensure that you’re flexible and can meet the changing demands.
3.Be flexible with changes in size, location and other details.
As you get into the event planning process, you may find that your event changes in size, location, and many other ways than you originally envisioned.
4.Know your limitations.
We all know the goal is to throw a great live event. To that end, we also must be aware of what we can or cannot realistically do — be it budget … or time-wise.
5.Get clear on the financial elements
It’s easy to get carried away with the wedding preparation, losing sight of how much your spending – until you’re faced with paying for it all. If you know what your overall budget is in advance, it will help you narrow down your choice of venue, catering, transport etc. If you do get your heart set on something you can’t afford, there’s always the option of seeing if you can up your budget or cut costs elsewhere, to make it a feasible option for you.
6.Get your venue booked
The venue is your top priority. Many wedding venues get booked months (and even years!) in advance. Shortlist your preferred locations and go scout them out. Once you’re there, ask as many questions as you need to make an informed decision – although to be honest, many couples just ‘know’ if a venue’s right, within minutes of arriving. i’GRACE’ is One of the Leading Event Management Company in Andhra Pradesh
7.Work on your guest list early
The number of guests you invite to your wedding has an impact on several other elements of your wedding plan, including the venue and catering requirements. It’s, therefore, a good idea to get a rough idea of numbers early in the planning stage. You can then send out your invites early, to give your guest plenty of warning to keep the day free.
8.Understand the logistics of event organisation
Pulling an event together inevitably involves dealing with various suppliers. Initially, you’ll have a larger list of potential suppliers, as you need to get several quotes, before narrowing down the options. Once you have narrowed down your selection, you then need to regularly communicate with each supplier, to ensure you have everything in place, at the right time and on the right day. You need to be clear on who is providing what, at what cost, along with when they need deposits and payments etc.

9.Remember to factor in time for appearance changes
You’re going to be centre stage on your wedding day, so plan how you want to look and ensure you give yourself time to make any changes. Many brides (and grooms!) look to lose weight, get a tan or change their hairstyle and/or colour for their big day. But these things take time to implement and get right. So, don’t add to the stress of your wedding, by trying to do it all at the last minute – factor in the time to make these changes. i’GRACE’ is One of the Event Management Company in Andhra Pradesh

10.Follow-up Immediately
Once the event is over, many organisers fall into a common pitfall – taking a break. While the logistics may be done it is important to be proactive in following up with attendees, be it over email or on social media, to demonstrate the success of the event.
