The first Master Plan was initiated in 1961 for the development process. Under the Master Plan Delhi, the 2021 K-1 zone will be constructed in the south-west and west Delhi.

DDA K1 Zone consists of just one planned scheme called the Lok Nayak Puram. This scheme is of utmost importance for the development of this zone.

DDA K-1 Zone is the new sector announced in Dwarka. The area covered by this zone is almost 6515 hectors. It consists of 26 villages. This K1 zone is constructed under Master Plan Delhi 2021.
