As WOW 7.2 PTR is going on, the live patch note is closer and closer. At the beginning of WOW 7.2, most players would devote themselves to unlocking flying. Meanwhile, Legionfall Campaign will never be a requirement to unlock flying in 7.2.

Breaching the Tomb requirement reduces to 2500 Nethershards

Breaching the Tomb, a series of multi-achievement / quest, includes the Shard times quest which requires 50,000 Nethershards to finish. 50K Shards for a quest is too much for many players. Blizzard has clarified that the current requirement for this quest is 2500 Nethershards, and that Khadgar only asks for 1 in WOW 7.2. The original currency requirement for Nethershards in this quest was temporary.

Legionfall Campaign is not a requirement to unlock flying in 7.2

As we know, Breaching the Tomb would have required players to complete each character’s Order Hall campaign and earn exalted status with the forces of Legionfall. So some players worried that the Legionfall Campaign would stop them flying.

Don’t worry about that! Blizzard has confirmed that the campaign is not a requirement to unlock flying in 7.2. On the current PTR, people can unlock flying by completing the following:

1. Complete Broken Isle Pathfinder, Part 1;

2. Explore the Broken Shore - find all points of interest on the Broken Shore;

3. Defender of the Broken Isles: complete Demon Assault in each of the four zones;

4. Legionfall Commander: earn Revered status with the Legionfall faction.
