Bluestar Air Newly Offers A Better Air Conditioning Refrigerant to Residents of Northern Virginia

Adapting to the phasing out regulation of R-22, an ozone-depleting substance, in air conditioning, Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. now offers a more eco-friendly refrigerant to all of its customers in Northern Virginia.

Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. proactively invests in R-410A to be the official refrigerant of all air conditioners it installs and maintains. Residents of Northern Virginia may now avail of air conditioners from Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. with greener and more affordable refrigerants.

Projected to apply by 2015 onwards in the United States of America, air conditioners with R-22 refrigerants will be totally banned from manufacture in the advocacy of keeping the ozone layer safe and in keeping the environment well-protected.

The use of R-22 refrigerant has been prohibited in the air conditioning manufacturing industry since 2010 due to to the harmful effects it confers to the environment, more particularly because it is found out to be one of the causes of ozone layer depletion.

Having R-410A as a new alternative, however, gives way to a more efficient air conditioning function. Besides being a hydro-fluorocarbon (HFC), which does not negatively affect the ozone, R-410A refrigerants are also less likely to overheat, and are reasonably priced and far more beneficial to many.
In the course of installing and maintaining air conditioners to residential, commercial and industrial homes in the Northern Virginia areas, Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. not only joins with the efforts of EPA, but supports environmentalists as well in pursuing the well-being of the environment and in protecting the quality of air people use for respiration. More than avoiding the use of equipment that produce hydro-chlorofluorocarbon (HCFC), Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. also supports the preservation of health.

“Quality air conditioning service is not only measured by functionality and longevity of the products we install, repair or maintain,” says Danny Ruiz, owner of Bluestar Air Mechanical Inc. “We also highly consider the over-all welfare of our customers.”

By 2020, R-410A will be the United State’s new standard for residential air conditioning system. R-22 air conditioning refrigerant will then be defunct and will only be a part of the history of the air conditioning industry.
