Craig Clissold Celebrates 30 Years With the Honolulu Police Department

Craig Clissold retires as a Lieutenant with the Honolulu Police Department after 30 years on the job.

 
Craig Clissold recently celebrated his 30th year with the Honolulu Police Department. Craig Clissold has grown and learned so much since he first joined the force. Craig Clissold appreciates what his career as a police officer has allowed him to do for his neighbors in the city of Honolulu.

During his time with the Honolulu Police Department, Craig Clissold has worked hard to ensure that he remains as knowledgeable and up-to-date as possible. During his time with the department, Craig Clissold returned to school to earn first an Associate’s degree, and then a Bachelor’s degree as well. Craig Clissold’s work ethic was immediately evident to his peers and superiors from his dedicated work while he was on the job, as well as his dedicated work off the job in service of furthering his career.

Craig Clissold worked in several roles during his time with the Honolulu Police Department, eventually achieving the rank of Lieutenant. Craig Clissold grew to be a valuable and respected member of the Honolulu Police Department in his time there, even representing the department several times at national conferences and events. He will certainly be missed around the office.

Craig Clissold is passionate about the work he has done with the police department, and looks forward to continuing that in the private sector. Craig Clissold hopes that he can bring his knowledge and experience to the table and use them to the benefit of a company in the private sector for their security needs. “What I’m really hoping to do is partner with a museum to work with their security. I love museums anyway, that would make work even more enjoyable,” said Craig Clissold of his search for new opportunities.

Since his time with the Honolulu Police Department, Craig Clissold has worked in several security positions at various locations, including the Honolulu Academy of Arts, the Waikiki Business Plaza, and the Wackenhut Corporation. Most recently, Craig Clissold was Chief of Security at the Mission House Museum. Craig Clissold has been successful in his career at this point and hopes to continue to share his knowledge to the benefit of others in the private sector.
