The-Patch-Factory.com recently fulfilled an order for patches with the saying “B Strong” that features the Boston Red Sox logo in remembrance of those who were harmed at the Boston Marathon. The person who completed the order will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the patches to the Red Cross relief efforts in Boston.

On April 15th, two bombs exploded during the Boston Marathon, causing injury to hundreds of people. As of this writing, those responsible are still at large, and a massive manhunt is under way to find the culprits and bring them to justice. The city of Boston remains vigilant and the B Strong logo is a testament that their spirits remain high.

The Red Cross Organization has been providing relief to those in need in the Boston area. The Red Cross provides emotional support, health and spiritual care services, and assistance at various community centers. According to their website, the Red Cross has provided nearly 150 workers, 500 blood products, and over 7000 meals to the Boston relief efforts.

The B Strong logo is a way to show solidarity for the people of Boston. The B Strong patch honors the strength of the Boston people to persevere over this tragedy. The logo features a blue background with the “B” icon for the Boston Red Sox baseball team. The Red Sox also put the B Strong logo on the “Green Monster”, the left field wall of Fenway Park for all to see.

Terrorists and criminals commit acts like this to try to dampen the spirit of the American people, but the only thing that actually gets accomplished is Americans pull together to help each other in their time of need. There were reports of marathon runners who finished the run and continued straight to the hospital to donate blood or to help however they could.
