Music Connection Magazine ( April/2018 ) - Set to a simple, slinky keyboard riff, LaQuinn Gilmore testifies with an earnest passion about the “Paradise” he sees in his chosen woman. The artist reports on his vividly anatomical sexploits in “Wendy Williams...” which is almost a play-by-play description of a celeb-booty sexperience.

Cry Baby is the 4th release by artist LaQuinn and comes after his month of four album releases. Following up single “Take My Heart” which is featured on pauseandplay.com playlist along side industry greats such as David Byrne and Frank Ocean. The album includes songs “Paradise” and “Iffy Love” which are making a buzz as well as various other cuts. Recorded by well known producers from the state of Virginia in well known studios such as “I feel famous studios”. Also, this album has a cohesive identity and leads to it demographically being one of the most evenly accepted albums of recent times.

This album is one of the most pivotal by LaQuinn as it deals with life and heart breaks and should be more accessible to listeners. Coming from Charlottesville,Virginia you can get a glimpse of the purely diverse and musical styles. Having been influenced by his late Uncle Johnny Gilmore (whom we have interestingly found out played with Nas father Olu Dara Jones, George Clinton,Dave Matthews and a host of greats) , the Ohio Players, EWF, ODB and a host of lyricist. LaQuinn can be likened to Forest Gump musically with his many episodes dealing with music.

LaQuinn is prepped and has festivals, concerts and shows planning to start in May 2018 after April 21st Cemafest in Maryland. Having been reviewed in Music Connection and prepped for many other publications LaQuinn is working hard on pushing  his “Cry Baby” album. The album also is garnering radio play on Pandora, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Rhythm Rave, 109.5 Atl and more.
