In addition to the installation of high quality pipes, the proper layout of the sanitary ware, it's very important the problem of choosing tiles because we can't change them easily like a sanitary ware. The bathroom is usually done before moving into a new place and this job is quite expensive, so carefully select all the elements and don't make expensive mistakes.

1. It's important that ceramic tiles have good quality. A common mistake made by young couples is covering walls with floor tiles. We put large floor tiles exclusively in bathrooms that are spacious, otherwise the effect is weird. Also, we spend incomparably more glue for floor tiles and they are far more difficult to remove. We can put floor tiles on the walls, but the wall tiles should never be placed on the floor because they are easier to crack and they are very slippy.

2. In bathrooms, we more often combine either two types or two colors of tiles. We choose the color of tiles according to the size of the bathroom, and on the wall they supposed to be brighter. Small bathrooms must be covered by brighter shades of tiles, cause it'll look wider. Dark tiles should be avoided, because limescale is more noticeable than on the bright ones.

3. It's safer to choose white sanitary ware because they are easily combined with blue, green, yellow and other colors. However, wash basins made of blue glass, green bathtubs and bathroom cabinets made of wood are very modern these days, so be sure to always contrast them with the tile color.

4. Little fugues on the tiles are obtained only if we choose laser cut tiles with straight edges. If the tiles are rounded, the fugue must be wide, at least two or three millimeters. Fugues can be white or beige, but you can buy also color pens with which you can paint old fugues.

5. The bathroom should have some detail that reflects the spirit of the owner. The patchwork is a great way to go cheap and make something unique.

6. Ceramic tiles that imitate parquet and decking are very interesting and they can also be installed in other parts of the apartment. Always need to be careful that such a floor doesn't touch the parquet, because it doesn't look nice.
