The World of Yaya is proud to announce the release of the first book in the series, The Adventures of Jack and Yaya. “Jack and Yaya’s SNOW DAY” is an entertaining and high energy read about a fun, snowbound day for young Jack and his nanny, Yaya. The debut title and overall series was inspired by the real-life relationship and anecdotes of six-year old Jack and the author, Yaya. The compelling stories chronicle their adventures and intergenerational friendship, while also teaching important lessons and tackling subjects including diversity, creativity, and fostering a love of learning.

“I started writing The Adventures of Jack and Yaya as a fun way of retelling some of our day to day experiences”, said Ardrey. “It started as something for just me and Jack, and grew into something that we really wanted to share with others. I hope that our stories inspire an enthusiastic love of reading for kids”.
