FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SALT LAKE CITY -- Today, Director Mauli Junior Bonner, announced a free virtual musical concert, a collaboration between artists and makers of the upcoming film about Black American pioneer, Green Flake. The event will take place on May 15, 2021, at 6:00pm MDT, and will be hosted at www.GreenFlakeMovie.com, and live streamed on Facebook.com/GreenFlakeMovie.

Green Flake was an enslaved pioneer and Latter-day Saint who courageously prepared the way for the Saints to enter the Salt Lake Valley. Concert organizers aim to build a monument for Green Flake and all of the previously unrecognized African Americans who made foundational contributions to both U.S. Territories and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All proceeds from the free Green Flake Monument Benefit Concert will go toward the making of this groundbreaking film and the building of this historical monument.

Reserve your tickets now to the Green Flake FREE Virtual Benefit Concert!
