In this article, we are going to discuss about the basic principles behind internal combustion and the four stroke cycles that help your car engine to do its job. There are various subsystems in an engine that help it to transform energy. There are turbocharged and supercharged engines installed in the modern cars for quality performance and fuel efficiency. These high power engines are designed with an aim to cut down the unnecessary maintenance and repair expenses of the car owners. In the same way, these engines are designed to save the pockets of car owners. Let’s begin with the topics on which this article is based.
1. Internal combustion: An internal combustion principle involves the combustion of chemical fuel into an engine. Due to the production of great amount of heat, the process of combustion typically starts. Most internal combustion engines are designed for either gasoline or diesel fuel. This process tends to ignition of air/fuel mixture into an engine. These engines require ignition of air/fuel mixture with the cylinders.
2. Four Stroke cycles: You may often hear the word “4-stroke engine” which actually addresses the four stroke process which consists of intake, compression, power stroke, and exhaust stroke.

a. In the intake stroke, the inlet valve opens for the entrance of vaporized air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber.
b. In compression stroke, both the valves are closed and the process begins with the movement of compression of air/fuel mixture. During this process, the pressure, temperature and the fuel density of the mixture increases.
c. In power stroke, the spark plug ignites the fuel mixture when the piston reaches at the point just before the ignition at about 10 degrees before top dead center.
d. Lastly, in exhaust stroke, the exhaust valve opens to allow the exhaust gases to escape the cylinder. During this stroke the piston starts moving at its maximum volume position. At the end, the exhaust valve closes and the inlet valve opens to repeat the sequence in next circle.

When it comes to replace a damaged engine, this is best to replace it with remanufactured diesel engine or gasoline engine. There is an online store hiperformer.com which serves marine remanufactured engine and automobile engine at very competitive rates. This online store is known especially for providing the quality products and warranty on all parts and engines. That is why; many people trust this store for best deals.
