Psychoneuroimmunology studies the effect of thoughts and feelings upon both your nervous and immune systems. Thoughts and feelings of low vibration, such as fear, anger, jealousy, have been clinically demonstrated to weaken the immune system.

One of the ways to improve the immune system is to change your thoughts and feelings. There are various strategies to change your thoughts, but how about preventing the low vibration feelings from being a part of you?

You've heard the phrase "garbage in, garbage out." Whatever enters you through your eyes and ears is data that can affect your body. How you respond to what you see and hear affects you.

Notice how you feel after watching certain television shows. Do you feel calm and peaceful after the news, or agitated? How about that DVD you just finished? Many people are more fearful after watching police and other violent dramas. That fear causes a reaction in the body which lowers the immune system.

The music you listen to, as well as various radio shows, also weakens the immune system if you feel angry, sad or fearful. If you are listening to a show which causes you to laugh joyfully, your immune system is strengthened.

Think of it this way, if you watch or listen to something that depresses you, then your immune system will also be depressed. When you watch, see or do something uplifting, your immune system will be strengthened.
