If it were to name a unique artist that would be Loris Gréaud, who considers himself an aesthetic adventurer.

Loris Gréaud is a conceptual installation artist, architect and filmmaker born in France in 1979. Worldwide media and art critics consider him one of the most influential artists of these times, but he is unique in the art world, because he refused to offer the public details about his biography. Therefore, there is little to know about his life, the focus being on his creations and activity. He organizes his work into different projects, rather than planning exhibitions. His first project was called Silence goes more quickly when played backwards, and it was organized in the 2005 in Paris. This project was the one that helped Loris Gréaud make a name for himself in the art world. In 2008, he managed to be the first artist who has dull use of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, using the space for his project called Cellar Door. This project was not limited to Paris, he not only that continued, but also developed it in Switzerland at the Kunsthalle Sankt Gallen, at ICA in London, United Kingdom, in Spain at the museum La Conservera de Murcia, and Vienna Kunsthalle in Austria.

The international museums and collectors managed to purchase some of his works, but the artist chooses to appear rarely in markets and galleries. Loris Gréaud is famous for his preference to exhibit his works in special places, so there is no surprise that for the double exhibition that took place in Paris in 2013 he chose the unusual spaces of the Pompidou Center and Louvre, as the courtyards of the museums. But Loris Gréaud is not known only for his works of art, he is famous for his social science fiction movie called Sculpt. So the big question would be what this movie depicts? Well, it depicts unprecedented obsessions, fantasies, experiences and shapes. This movie follows the thoughts of a person whom the public knows very little, and who seems to constantly develop the concept of what experiencing obsessions, thought and beauty can be, without being intimidated by the risks of long-term exposure. Sculpt was a movie produced for LACMA, and it was the first major exhibition project Loris Gréaud had in the United States. Also this was his first feature-length film, and it totally amazed the art world.

This movie brings a new experience to each viewer, because every person can interpret it differently. What can be more amazing for a film than the possibility to see the content through your own vision? Moreover, for being sure that every one of the viewers has a unique experience, Loris Gréaud reconfigured the Bing Theater to allow only a person at the time to see it. The artist made four different versions of the film, similar in narrative arc, but different in script, pacing and sequence of events. Every one of the versions follows a manic collector character, played by Willem Dafoe, whose hurried and deep voice permeates the movie throughout. Through his works, Loris Gréaud revolutionizes the art world and opens new doors for young artists.
