Photos & Identity Of Ghana’s First Coronavirus Patient Who Died
Ghana has recorded a total of 21 Coronavirus cases with one person dying as a result of the virus.
The patient was reported to be a male who 61 years old allegedly identified as Tarek Minkara and a resident of Kumasi.
Reports suggest that he was a spare parts dealer and also a very popular figure in Kumasi.
News of his death was made known by Deputy Health Minister, Alex Abban in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM.
During the interview, he said;
“The information I got from the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service is that that person [the Lebanese man] has died. He died today.”
However, his family has rejected the claim that he was killed by Coronavirus with a source close to the family stating that reports that he died of the deadly virus are false and should be disregarded.

The same source revealed that he had been battling illness for the past three months and could not have died of the virus.

Passengers Who Just Arrived In The Country Taken Up By The Armed Forces To Be Quarantined
We have seen some photos which are fast going viral on social media and it seems passengers who just arrived at the Kotoka International Airport being picked up the Ghana Armed Force personnel.
This comes after the president of Ghana gave a directive saying the borders of Ghana would be closed to human traffic starting today to curb the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.

These individuals who have been picked up will be quarantined for at least 14 days to ascertain whether they will show symptoms of Coronavirus.
Ghana has so far recorded 21 cases with one resulting in death.
