The exterior of a car sustains dents, scratches and regular dust. But just because it stays protected from the outside, the interior is not any more clean or damage-free than that. For outside damages, there are workshops for auto restoration in Russia. But for the car owner, the interior of a car can be a lot more difficult to clean and maintain than the exterior. Unlike the outside body, you cannot just splash water and clean the interior of a car. One needs to be meticulous and pay a lot of attention.
Here are some useful tips to maintain the interior of your vehicle.
1.Clean out the car regularly

If you use the car on a regular basis, chances are, you always drop a trash or two inside. Be it an used coffee cup or a wrapper or a useless receipt, they keep lying there for weeks and pile up the trash content inside. To lessen your task of cleaning out it all together, make it a point to do it every day once you get back home. All you need to do is remember to pick up everything lying around inside your car before you lock it away for night and throw them away.

2.Use a vacuum cleaner

Everyone has a vacuum cleaner lying in a corner of their home. Car interior cleaning is the best time to bring it out and put it to use. The suction of the vacuum cleaner helps clear the dust that keep hidden in the nooks and corners of the car. The seams of the car seats, the fibres of the floor carpet, the armrests and the dashboard – they all collect a lot of more dust than it seems to the naked eye.

3.A paintbrush or toothbrush could be handy

The even finer places that a vacuum cleaner cannot reach - you will have to do them with your hand. The vents of the air conditioner, the grooves of the window glasses, and the patterns of floor mats – swipe the dirt away from these with the help of a brush with soft bristles.

4.Keep the upholstery clean

Occasionally the upholstery needs some deep cleaning as well. Only dusting and scrubbing will not suffice. For the seats, an all-purpose cleaner on a scrubbing pad is enough. You need to get special leather soap for leather seats. You can do the same for any additional cushions or detachable headrests that have been added.

5.Use a paper towel for windows

Cloth towels can occasionally leave rag fibres on the window. Using a paper towel for cleaning the windows with a cleaner is a much wiser option. Do remember to follow it through by wiping it off with newspaper. Also, do not use a cleaner with ammonia if your windows are tinted.

6.The finishing touches

Re-vacuum the car once everything else is done to get rid of the leftover dust from all the cleaning and dusting. At the end, add a car freshener to maintain a fresh smell inside the car.
