In the Benelux Movianto has its own fleet of over 100 actively temperature controlled trucks and vans. Apart from its national and international GDP compliant dedicated transport services (from -30°C till + 25°C), Movianto is operating a GDP compliant distribution network for Cold Chain Shipments between 2 ºC to 8 ºC and for Room Shipments between 15 ºC to 25 ºC. GDP trained drivers deliver healthcare products on a daily basis to wholesalers, hospitals and pharmacists either in a monotemp vehicle or in a dualtemp vehicle.

During the last couple of months, Movianto Benelux replaced and extended its fleet with 18 new EUR6 certified trucks. Although the old trucks were still in a good condition, Movianto Benelux decided to replace them by EUR6 for environmental reasons. With the extension of the fleet Movianto is able to fulfill demands of the increasing volumes in its temperature controlled distribution network.

With the EUR6 standard, coming into force by 1st September 2014, all vehicles equipped with a diesel engine will be required to substantially reduce their emissions of nitrogen oxides. For example, emissions from cars and other vehicles intended to be used for transport will be capped at 80 mg/km.
