They are also tasked with budgeting and resourcing to maximize profits and minimise expenditure.

3. Information Technology Directors

IT directors are responsible for the deployment and maintenance of technological tools in the company. These technological tools are based on data analysis, design, etc and are deployed based on the business requirements of different fields. To make sure these tools are used effectively, policies are made and implemented by the IT directors. These policies also cover the various other aspects of the IT department like monitoring the performance of the team. Consequently, the IT director has to report their performance to the CIO to measure the company’s growth. With all these responsibilities in hand, this is an important role in the IT industry
