Capture the Flag is a popular game

A paintball game is a mix of the childhood games "tag" and "hide and seek," but it is much more difficult and complex. The number of players on each team in the NPPL may vary, although there are a maximum of 7 players permitted on each side of the field throughout the competition.

At the same time you are trying to capture a flag, you are simultaneously attempting to remove other players by spraying them with paintballs that are fired from a special airgun known as a "marker." Games are limited to a maximum of 10 minutes in length.

Paintballs

Colored liquid is contained inside a spherical, thin-skinned gelatin capsule, which is known as a paintball. Paintballs resemble big spherical vitamin capsules or bath oil beads in their appearance. The filler used in paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble, and biodegradable, according to the manufacturer. It is easily removed off clothes and skin with moderate soap and water, and it is also edible, but we do not suggest it!

Paintballs are available in a variety of vibrant hues, including blue, pink, white, orange, yellow, and more. When a paintball tags a player, the thin gelatin skin breaks apart, releasing the liquid within, which creates a brilliant "paint" mark on the player's clothing. A player who has been marked is automatically removed from the game.

Markers

Paintball guns, often known as "markers," are available in a range of sizes, shapes, and colours. Carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen (N2), or compressed air may be used to power these devices.
