30th July 2021: Gyaannirudra successfully conducted its another live session of career awareness series whose theme was “How LinkedIn can be used smartly to build and grow your career exponentially?” The event was conducted in an online mode through YouTube live session. Ms. Divya Shlokam was invited as guest for the event, who is the personal branding and business coach and LinkedIn growth expert. She has more than 22 years of experience in the corporate sector and in helping people growing their career and business exponentially. Mr. Raunak Gupta, the Creator and crafter of Gyaannirudra, had a very deep conversation and discussion with Ms. Divya. The discussion revolved around the importance of LinkedIn as a social media / professional platform in building and growing your career exponentially.
About the event: The discussion flourished in the direction of first understanding the importance of social media in employability of the people. She talked about how LinkedIn helps in creating networking and how does it promote your posts organically to the maximum number of people. She also talked about how is it different from other social media platforms. She also advised how to choose your connections wisely. She also explained how LinkedIn can help you in exploring various career opportunities or how can one use it as a platform to showcase their talent. She explained how can one start from the beginning by making an attractive profile. She also talked about what should be added in the profile, and what shouldn’t be added, what should be the heading and description, whom to connect, what keywords to add and how to widen your horizon and to be specific to your area.
She thoroughly explained and answered these questions – “How to make an attractive profile on LinkedIn? How should one approach others with whom they want to connect in the initial stage of career? How LinkedIn provides a better environment for learning? How should one behave in a professional manner on LinkedIn? How to get influenced by others profile or influence others on LinkedIn? How to build strong network base and how it can be used to grow your career? What kind of content should one create to maximize its reach?”
Basically, she explained all the aspects of how LinkedIn could be used to build your career and it ended on a high note on how one should keep updating and networking which would help them at each stage in their career.
