The agreement will see Westbrook’s residents granted access to Opticomm’s fibre optic network, which will give them high-speed internet, free-to-air and pay television and phone lines.

Requirements and Processes

Under the agreement, Westbrook Estate builders are required to install all home lines according to established industry standards. Builders are also obliged to comply with Opticomm’s Cable Entry Guidelines with regards to cable entry installation. The guidelines are available for viewing on Opticomm’s official website.

Residents are also required to register their properties at the Opticomm website before installation. They will then receive confirmation of their connection upon submission of the official documentation at the Opticomm office. Opticomm will then commence installation, and residents can activate their official account and select their preferred internet and television packages.
