Causes

Yeast likes to grow where it is hot and humid. It works best when the skin is slightly abraded. So, the famous "athlete's foot" and the "jock itch" in the locker room. It does even better if there is some kind of compromise in the immune system. Yeast infections are common with excessive use of steroids or antibiotics, oral contraceptives, and pregnancy, menopause, and diabetes.

Normally, your skin acts as an effective barrier against infection. However, any cuts or breaks in the surface layers of the skin can allow the fungus to cause infection. Candida becomes pathogenic, or capable of causing disease, when conditions are favorable for it to multiply. Hot and humid weather, poor hygiene, or restrictive clothing can produce these conditions.

Treatment

Yeast infections are easy to diagnose and easy to treat in healthy bodies. candida treatment is two to three weeks of moisturizing or inhaling lotion.

To prevent it from returning, keep your affected areas as dry as possible, and, unless it is your mouth, dry as much as you can.
