The brand &Me or andme.in comprises of a range of bio-active lifestyle beverages for women created by a blending of Ayurveda with modern science. It is a venture of Bangalore based company, Merhaki Foods & Nutrition. The company offers a range of highly healthy drinks for women.

More details about the company were revealed to the public by its top executives in conversation with press online.

“Through the brand &Me, our company targets solving of lifestyle challenges and discomforts associated with women exclusive problems like beauty, menstruation, fat metabolism, PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) and more. When we began our journey in 2017, there was no women’s health company in India. Every month women were suffering from complicated hormonal changes which impacted their hair, skin, period health, mental health and fitness. There was lack of focus and research since it was a topic of ‘women’s health’. So, we conceptualised and launched the brand &Me to cater to nutrition and health needs through goodness filled products. We began our journey by making and selling health drinks for women,” said an executive.

&Me has never looked back since its launch. As of today, it has served over 2 lakh, happy women customers. It has built a passionate community of 1 lakh women. The company is the brainchild of Ankur Goyal, a product of Stanford Business School and is co-founded by Sheta Mittal, an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
The health drinks marketed by the company are a combination of vegetables, fruits, flowers, spices and Ayurvedic herbs. They claim to take care of 30% of daily mineral and vitamin needs of a woman. Other attractive features of these drinks are that they are free of preservatives, added colours & flavour. They are gluten free and vegan in nature. They don’t have any major side-effects being totally natural and are less than 80 calories per bottle. Best of all, they are healthy and delicious.

The first two products launched by &Me were Rhythm and Grace. Rhythm was meant to reduce cramps, bloating and fatigue during menstrual periods and Grace was meant for detoxifying blood and enhancing skin and hair vitality.

The biggest challenge of the company was to market the products as not being fruit juice but equally healthy and delicious. While each drink contains 40% fruit extracts, the rest is made of spices and herbs. For example, Rhythm contains herbs like Shatavari, that reduce mood swings.

The second challenge was to convince consumers that though healthy, the drinks are also delicious. Instead of sugar, they use some form of dietary fibre. For example, in Grace, they have used coconut water. Thus, these make for best health drink for ladies.
