[KEP, 27/2/2020] – Yoga and meditation have been used as an alternative form of exercise to improve the mind and body. Yoga enhances balance, flexibility and endurance, while meditation eases stress and anxiety.
For those who need a getaway to relax and reconnect, head over to Vagabond Temple’s Yoga and Meditation Center in Cambodia. The center has ongoing retreats starting every Monday from October to March.
Special Retreats and Training
Vagabond Temple offers a range of special retreats and training available throughout the year:
• Community Member Program: 7 weeks of learning spiritual practices and taking on a personal project with support from their teachers
• Reiki Courses: 6 to 7 days of learning how to use Reiki to heal others and the self
• Yoga Teacher Training: a 26-day intensive training programme for those who want to share the knowledge of yoga
• Holistic Healing Training: 3-week intensive training program where guests explore the different aspects of self-healing
Set in the peaceful town of Kep, Vagabond Temple takes guests to beautiful mountains with a stunning view of the sea. The full daily schedule consists of spiritual practices with the support of qualified teachers and the international spiritual community. Guests can enhance their practice by attending healing sessions, sound healing and Reiki courses.
Saturdays and Sundays are reserved for reflection, social activities and self-practice. Vagabond Temple offers optional day trips so guests can enjoy the local attractions of Kep.
Guests will experience nature in simple accommodations made from traditional Khmer straw and wooden bungalows. Vagabond Temple offers private rooms as well as mixed-gender dorms with an attached bathroom. Guests can also choose to stay at Vagabond Temple’s apartments, a walking distance from the main centre.
