Bethesda has just broken the hearts of fans who are waiting for the new “Skyrim 2″ or the sixth installment of the “Elder Scrolls” series, as there are talks that the company will be focusing more on “Fallout 4.”

According to Christian Today, Bethesda is moving all of their manpower to “Fallout 4,” which is due to be released in November of this year. It is also speculated that the company will not be prioritizing the development of the new “Elder Scrolls” series after the release of “Fallout.”

Bethesda will instead be hard at work on developing both “Doom” and “Dishonored 2.” Both games are slated for release in 2016, which could push back the release of the new “Elder Scrolls” in 2016 as well.

VP for Marketing, Pete Hines, recently sat down with MCV UK and shared his thoughts on the new “Fallout 4.” He said: “I think this [‘Fallout 4′] can top ‘Skyrim.’ It could be our biggest release ever. But we will see. It is part of my job to build the megaphone that we hold up to the game, and the game decides how loud it goes. Just how big it is going to be is hard to say. ‘Skyrim’ was a massively big deal.”

Vine Report also stated that Bethesda already ended their support for “Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” two years ago but has not stopped enhancing their new “Elder Scrolls Online.” Skyrim was able to sell 3.4 million copies in the first two days alone. As of June 2013, Skyrim has sold over 20 million copies, a feat which “Fallout 4″ is planning to exceed this coming November.

Fans of the “Elder Scrolls” series, unfortunately, need to wait a little longer for their new fix. Luckily, while they wait,they can choose to continue playing the “Elder Scrolls Online,” which will have a new DLC on Sept. 16.
