Daisi Daniels is undoubtedly one of the most well known names in the arena of the youngsters in the world of ski racing.

The shining star of skiing, Daisi Daniels from Rochdale has added another feather to her crown; she has grabbed as much as 3/4th place medals at the Trofeu Borrufa, held in Androrra between the 30th January and 2nd February this year. Undoubtedly, she was among one of the sought after athletes and was awarded the second position at the English Championships, which was held in Italy this year.

Also in Andorra, the 14 year old gained the fourth place in Slalom, Alpine Combined Championship, and Daisi also congratulated herself of being of the youngest contenders in the Under16 Category.

The young ski racer was also among the Great Britain team of the 10 Under 14 and Under 16 racers who successfully finished a highly impressive second place overall, failing only to beat Italy, even leaving behind the host Andorra. This is, indeed no mean feat for a championship, which is participated by an overall 31 teams, representing 18 nations. With Daisi shining in the team, the Great Britain was awarded medals to the top 5 positions, in each discipline.

With all the potentiality to rise to the zenith in her Skiing career, Daisi really knows to strike the right balance between school and training. She is continuing her education at the prestigious Beech House School in Rochdale, which is also her sponsor. Her training for ski race is continued with Chillfactore in Manchester and the British Ski Academy in Pila, Italy. She also goes to Manchester Ski Racing Club when staying at home.

With the summer busily racing in the frozen UK snow domes, Daisi is now taking some rest before she heading back to Pila and prepare hard for her next Great Britain International Championship.

The pint-sized ski dive aims at gaining the first three finishes in the International Children’s Race, as well as in the British Alpine Ski Championships for the 2016-17 season.

When asked what works as the driving force of this talented ski racer , Daisy smilingly replies that it is her passion for the adrenaline rush and the feeling of freedom that skiing gives, makes her go gaga with the sports. Also, the excitement of the chance of winning renders her with an amazing feeling. Daisi is also very passionate about the unmatched speed of skiing.

Tim Fawke, the Board Director of Snowboard and the Chief Executive of Snowsport England calls Daisi as one of the most promising athletes who made commendable progress since the inception of her days in Manchester Ski Racing Club. By making her appearance in the podium of the prestigious English Alpine Championships, Fawkes expects that sports lovers can look for more with her in this season.

Besides Chill Factore and Beech House School, Daisi Daniels is also sponsored by Fort Vale and H Rigg Properties among others. However, to help her enjoy an even more cracking start in the upcoming ski season, a good deal of sponsorship is needed. Every year, Daisi has to bear a good amount of investment for trainers, equipments and travelling. The talented skier hence invites sponsorship, be it in any form. The details of sponsoring her are documented in Daisi’s website, where she personally communicates with her fans through blogs.

With as many as three gold awards in the Anglo Scottish Cup, as well as in the Artemis British Ski Academy, an overall championship for three running years in the Slalom and Giant Slalom, and three super G titles by beating Hungary and Netherlands, Daisi’s journey to success has been, by all means, an inspiration to many. She promises to bring in more special surprises in near future.
