Apprenticeship is one word which these days we all would hear a lot. This term can be best described when we say that you would be earning your own pocket money while studying. This sounds very fascinating and it’s better when you start pursuing this as a career option. To pursue these special trade courses all you have do is choose the best trade type which suits you and the kind of work you are interested in. Then you start by gathering all its related information. While going through various internet websites you would come across trade colleges all over the world.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships are of significance value, especially when they are school based. Working in groups, you come to know about team work and in many senses you experience the joy of working together. These school based apprenticeships often become enjoyable learning experiences. There are many trade colleges in Australia which offer apprenticeships. AITC (Australian Industry Trade College) is a trade college where programs are ranged from trade occupations to traineeships in hospitality or tourism.

AITC apprenticeships programs commence when students enroll in year 11 and are completed at the end of year 12. These courses are very different from the regular courses which are offered by other high schools. They do not involve a lot of books and homework, but they revolve around actual working and experienced staff. Apprenticeship is a very old term introduced sometime in the middle ages.

Students who start an AITC trade careeroften complete nearly half of their apprenticeship before they finish school. During the tenure of your AITC trade career you get an opportunity to work under highly professional and qualified people, who are expert in their trade field and have huge experience. In the last five years, more than 700 students have been placed in full time apprenticeships as a result of starting AITC apprenticeships.AITC provides freedom to the students and encourages them to concentrate on their trade career. A large percentage of students finish their year 12 and move straight into a full time apprenticeship. The quality of education and courses at AITC is recognized by a number of public sector organizations in Australia. As these programs have grown substantially in last 10 yearsmany individuals have been encouraged to take this up as their career path.
