Donation: $ 65.00, includes a plated lunch
The fundraiser, hosted by AAUW-Tampa will benefit scholarships and programs to include our local scholarship opportunities supporting women in pursuit of higher education in STEAM fields, as well as sponsorship of a school aged camper at a week-long Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) camp. Awards will be presented to Ribbon of Honor Recipients that are making a difference in the local community to empower others.
The event will not only raise support for our programs, but also serve as a motivational uplift for those in attendance, as they hear from the dynamic and captivating keynote speaker, Mr. Jonathan Esteban, an OIF/OEF Veteran that has learned to forge ahead despite challenges and obstacles. Now he is able to share his survival techniques, and experience to motivate and inspire others. “His presentation will leave you feeling like you too can navigate and overcome the unexpected road blocks life throws your way!”, says AAUW-Tampa President Shella Miller.
You don’t want to miss this delightful afternoon of motivation, networking, and entertainment. The doors will open at 10 a.m. for attendees to check-in, network, and browse fundraiser silent auction items, books by local authors, and our creatively themed baskets.
