Future Electronics, a leading global distributor of electronic components, recently congratulated Snezhina Bikova for her milestone anniversary with the company. Snezhina has now been with Future Electronics for 20 years.

“I joined Future Electronics in 2004,” said Snezhina. “I can now say it was one of my best decisions.” Before joining Future Electronics, Snezhina worked as an architect but pivoted to become a teacher and later school principal due to economic uncertainty in Bulgaria. When an opportunity presented itself at Future Electronics, Snezhina took the risk and dove into a new industry.

“I met wonderful people who have trained and guided me. I began to love this new career path!” she said. “I have always worked as a Customer Service Representative at Future Electronics. The branch in Bulgaria is quite small, over the past 20 years it has varied from two to three employees. This means I’ve needed to learn everything and be able to do anything. I learn something new every week. It is for this reason I love my job so much!”

In 2010, Snezhina was nominated by her colleagues and managers and won the Future Electronics ‘Get It Done’ award for her work attitude, collaboration with colleagues from headquarters and warehouses, and overall performance. The award was presented by Dan Casey, Managing Director of Future Electronics EMEA at the time. “Our clients know are confident that I am always ready to help them. We have a wonderful relationship with all of our clients, even if they change workplaces, they don’t forget Future Electronics,” said Snezhina.

Outside of work, she enjoys drawing and oil painting. “I like to travel, read, play music, hike in the mountains, and remain active,” said Snezhina. She is a mother of two and grandmother of four.

“My time with Future Electronics has been extraordinary,” said Snezhina. “I have made amazing friendships with people from all over the world. When I come to work I feel needed, skilled, and knowledgeable. I know I am doing meaningful work. I am thankful to Future Electronics for providing me with a workplace that feels like home these past 20 years, and I look forward to many more!”
